Black winter round radish "Kulata Cerna" - Raphanus sativus L. (partim).
Mid-season, high-yielding variety of radish. Root vegetables are round-flat in shape, 5-9 cm in diameter, black in colour. The pulp is white, juicy, with a pleasant, slightly pungent taste. The keeping quality is excellent.
Recommended for fresh consumption, winter storage, and also for processing into juice.
Agricultural technology: radish loves fertile, light-textured soil.
Sowing: from mid-June to mid-July in furrows located at a distance of 35-40 cm from each other and to a depth of 3 cm. The seedlings are thinned out, leaving 15-20 cm between plants. The crops are periodically treated with a mixture of tobacco dust and ash 1:1.
Care: consists of loosening, weeding, regular watering and fertilizing. Feed the radish three times throughout the growing season.
