Broad bean "Bizon" - Vicia faba L. var. major Harz.
An early variety that ripens 70-75 days after sowing. Plants are about 70-90 cm tall. Beans 14-17 cm long, containing 2 to 5 large seeds.
Freshly harvested seeds are light green in color with a gray spot, and when dry they turn yellowish.
Beans of the "Bizon" variety are very large (1000 peeled seeds 4.3-4.4 kg).
Grows well in fertile, non-acidic, moist loamy soil.
