Periwinkle "Volcano Peach" F1 - Catharanthus rosea.
Charming, large flowers cover the plant from mid-July to late autumn.
The plant grows up to 25–30 cm in height. An elegant perennial semi-shrub plant, cultivated as an annual. Stems are erect, 40-50 cm long, branched in the upper part, with dark green, shiny leaves. The time from sowing to flowering plants is 8-10 weeks. The flowers have overlapping petals, intense colouration and a diameter of 5.5–6.0 cm.
The Volcano F1 series is very disease and stress resistant. They tolerate heat, dryness and humidity well. They retain their normal flower size and high colour intensity even under extreme conditions. Ideal for use in various types of containers, as well as for planting in large beds.
Sowing for seedlings is carried out in March-April. Seeds germinate very quickly and amicably and problems with growing seedlings usually do not arise. Planted in open ground in late May - early June.
Quaranthus prefers sunny, fertile, well-moistened places. Drought resistant. For the winter, the plant can be brought into the house or conservatory and grown as an indoor plant. Used for planting in flower beds, containers and borders.
