Inflorescences up to 7.5 cm in diameter, spherical. Blooms in July-August.
Used for prefabricated flower beds and for cutting. Dried inflorescences are good for winter dry bouquets.

Grows well in any well-drained soil in warm, sunny areas. To prolong flowering, pick off faded flowers regularly.
