Harvesting can begin 40-50 days after germination. Fresh and dried leaves and mature seeds are used in cooking.
The yield of greens is high: about 1-1.2 kg/m2.
To obtain a continuous harvest of greenery, seeds are sown several times per season with an interval of 15-20 days.
