Flanders poppy seed "Shirley multicolor" (mixture of colors) - Papaver rhoeas.
The new poppy variety will charm you at first sight!
Its erect, branched stems rise above a rosette of beautiful, pinnately dissected leaves and are covered with large, fiery flowers, decorated with a contrasting border and light stamens.
The flowering season begins in July and lasts until autumn. It is a spectacular dominant and an excellent background for any woody plants, looks beautiful in mixborders.
Sowing: April-May in open ground to a depth of no more than 0.5 cm. Seedlings appear in 10-15 days. They are thinned out, keeping the distance between plants 12-15 cm.
Care: any well-drained soil and sunny place is suitable. In dry weather, the plant is watered, fed 2-3 times per season.
Bloom: from July to autumn.
Poppy goes well with perennials, blooming white and blue flowers (chamomile, lupine, delphinium, sage), as well as with ornamental cereals.

Eng.: Corn poppy, corn rose, field poppy, Flanders poppy, coquelicot. Suom.: Silkkiunikko. Sven.: Kornvallmo.
