Bracted strawflower is indispensable for winter bouquets.
Magnificent dried flower. Glossy shiny large flowers. A slightly spreading bush reaches a height of 100 cm. Each plant has about 25 yellow inflorescences with a diameter of 6-8 cm.
Along the edge of the inflorescence are dryish bracts, giving the impression of "terry". Blooms from August to September.
Used for flower beds.

Agrotechnics.
The plant prefers open sunny places and light nutrient soils. Propagated by sowing seeds in late March - early April. The seeding depth is 0.5-1 cm. At a soil temperature of +18°C, seedlings appear in 10-15 days. Seedlings contain at a moderate temperature. Planted in open ground in late May - early June (when the threat of late spring frosts has passed). Landing distance 25-30 cm.
