Plants form dense curtains about 30 cm high. The bluish-blue leaves are decorative throughout the season. The flowers are fringed, pink-red, streaked. Used as a border and ground cover plant for rocky hills and rock gardens.
It grows naturally in Central Europe, where it is found on rocks and rocky slopes, in pine forests. Cushion-shaped perennial up to 25 cm tall. The leaves are narrow, linear, bluish-blue. The flowers are simple, white, pink, carmine, fragrant, 2-3 at the ends of the peduncles. Blooms from the end of June for 35-40 days.

The plant is frost-resistant. Prefers sunny places, drained loose soil with moderate nutrient content.Does not tolerate excessive moisture in the autumn-winter period.

Propagated by sowing seeds in March-April in boxes. 1.0 g = 700 seeds.
The seeds are lightly sprinkled with soil. At a temperature of +15°C, seedlings appear in 10-20 days. After 6 weeks, the seedlings dive. Planted in open ground in May. The distance between plants when planting is 20-25 cm.
Location: sunny, dry, loose soil with moderate nutrient content. Does not tolerate heavy and wet soils.
Thanks to the bluish colour of the leaves, it remains decorative even after flowering.
