Perennial from the Polemoniaceae family.
Origin: Northern Japan, Hokkaido (open rain forests, roadsides in the mountains).
Features: very attractive red-purple feathery foliage from spring to early summer. Re-blooms after wilting.
Flower colour: large violet blossoms.
Foliage: reddish-purple ovate to elliptic leaflets.

Natural flowering period: June - July.
Flowering plant height: 50 cm.
Distance between plants: 45 cm.
Winter hardiness zones: Z4 - Z9.
Soil Requirements: moist, well-drained, medium fertility.
Usage: suitable for cutting and as a pot plant.
