Leaf сelery "Zwolse krul".
An early, aromatic variety with deeply dissected leaves (like parsley). It is used fresh, and is suitable for drying and freezing.
The crop can be harvested several times by cutting the entire plant (plants should not be cut too low to the ground, as they may not grow back).
The plant is compact, grows to about 30 cm in height, and is suitable for growing in pots.
1.0 g = 2000-2600 seeds.
Growing conditions.
It is recommended to grow by seedlings. Before sowing, the seeds are germinated in a wet cloth at room temperature for 6 days. Then they are kept in the refrigerator for 10-12 days. They are sown in seedling boxes to a depth of 0.5 cm, covered with a film.
The crop is cold-resistant, demanding of soil and air humidity. They are placed on light, fertile, permeable soils.

* In order to destroy pathogens of bacterial, fungal and viral diseases present on or inside the seeds, as well as to protect young shoots from pathogens in the soil, the seeds of vegetable crops are disinfected for 15-20 minutes in a 1% solution of potassium permanganate (1 g of the preparation per half a glass of water) before germination, and then washed well in clean water. After such treatment, the seeds acquire a brown color. Another effective method of preparing hard-to-germinate seeds (celery, eggplant, pepper) for sowing is bubbling: treating the seeds in water saturated with oxygen. Shoots from bubbling seeds appear much earlier than from dry ones. At home, bubbling is carried out as follows: water is poured into a jar to 2/3 of its volume and the tip of a compressor used for aerating water in aquariums is lowered to the bottom. Then the seeds are poured in (there should be 4 times less of them than the mass of water) and the compressor is plugged into the network. Make sure that the seeds, together with the water and air bubbles, are always in motion. Duration of bubbling - until shoots appear: for celery seeds - 7 days, eggplants - 2 days, peppers - 3 days.
