Sweetpea "White Ensign" - Lathyrus odoratus.
An annual, fast-growing plant with a climbing ribbed stem, up to 2.5 m high.
Fragrant, large flowers on long strong peduncles, collected in graceful racemose inflorescences, 25-30 cm long.
The plant is light-loving and cold-resistant. Prefers non-acidic, loose, fertile and moderately moist soils.
In hot and dry weather, flowering worsens, so regular watering and top dressing with organic fertilizers are required.
Then the flowers will look especially decorative: bloom profusely and for a long time.
Used for vertical gardening supports and decorating fences and walls. Cut inflorescences are well preserved in water.
The optimum soil temperature for seed germination is +10+15 °C.
