Fodder Beet "Rekord Poly" - Beta vulgaris L. var. Crassa Mansf.
A multi-germ, polyploid, heterotic variety of the "Eckendorf Red" type.
A real find for the thrifty farmer!
Among multi-germ fodder beet species, this variety is distinguished by the highest root yield (up to 100 t/ha).

Root Characteristics:
* Appearance: Large, cylindrical roots of dark red color.
* Flesh: White, juicy.
* Harvesting: Since the root is submerged in the soil by only 40% (3/4 grows above the surface), the beet remains clean with significantly less soil contamination. This makes it ideal for manual harvesting.
* Storage: Stores excellently during winter.

Agronomic Data:
* Yield: Up to 1000 centners/ha (100 tons/ha).
* Nutritional Value: Dry matter content 11–12%.
* Resistance: Resistant to bolting.
* Soil: Grows well on non-acidic, fertile soils.
* Seeding Rate: 15–20 kg/ha.

Use in Animal Husbandry:
A universal succulent feed providing energy for growth.
* Cattle: Added to dairy cows' diet to stimulate milk production and improve milk quality (fat/protein).
* Pigs: Recommended for animals weighing at least 45 kg.
* Others: Excellent for sheep, horses, goats, and poultry.
