Blue granules, 30 g/kg metaldehyde.
GROZA is a classic European preparation for controlling slugs and snails on vegetable, berry, fruit and flower crops, on grapes, which has already celebrated the 100th anniversary of its worldwide application.
It is used in organic farming, where pesticides are practically prohibited.
The preparation is ready for use: you just need to scatter the granules on the soil surface around the plants: between the rows and in places where pests accumulate and move.
The granules attract pests, which crawl along the scattered preparation and die.
The protective effect of the preparation lasts for 2-3 weeks.
Safety and ecology: Class 3 (moderately hazardous substance).
The bitter additive in the preparation repels birds and pets. Safe for earthworms and beneficial insects.
Shelf life is 3 years.
Instructions for use.
The Groza-3 preparation should be used from the end of June until autumn temperatures drop to +5 degrees. The product can be used in different ways. In the evening or at night, the granules of the preparation are scattered directly onto the soil, forming a thin layer. They should be poured where dangerous mollusks move or accumulate. As a rule, these are areas between rows, spaces between plants or paths. There is no need to fill the layer too thick. You can simply distribute the granules in one layer. A 15 g bag will be enough to treat an area of 5-6 sq. m.
On a site where there are beds with vegetables, flowers or berries, you can build special bait sites. For this, use small pieces of cardboard or scraps of plywood, roofing felt. These materials are cut into squares, one side of which is 50 cm. These blanks are placed on the beds and 1-2 g of the drug Groza-3 is poured in the center. To protect 10 sq. m of area, 1-4 bait sites will be quite enough. A day after treatment with the drug, contact with the soil will be absolutely safe. You can safely engage in gardening. The drug does not pose a danger to bees.
