Oriental radish "Solovei-Razboinik" (daikon).
Mid-season (45-57 days from germination to harvest) variety of large daikon for summer sowing.
Cylindrical snow-white root crops up to 60 cm long and 10-12 cm in diameter, reach a weight of 1.2-1.5 kg by harvest.
The pulp is dense, crispy, very juicy, tender, does not contain hot mustard oils. The variety is heat-resistant, resistant to diseases.
Used fresh and for short-term storage.
Root crops are 2/3 raised above the soil surface, which facilitates manual harvesting. Productivity is 11-15 kg / m2.
Sowing is carried out in open ground, in July, to a depth of 1.5-2 cm. Shoots appear on the 3-5th day. Harvesting of root crops is carried out in the second half of September or in October.
