Early and abundant harvest of gherkins without pollination.
A very early ripening (42-45 days from germination to fruiting) parthenocarpic hybrid of female type of flowering and bouquet arrangement of ovaries. Cold-resistant, resistant to temperature changes.
The fruits are 10-12 cm long, weighing 90-110 g, white-thorned, without bitterness, with dense pulp, easily transported. 5-8 ovaries are formed in the leaf axil.
The fruits are dark green in colour with light stripes up to 1/3 of the fruit lenght.
Universal use: for salads and pickling.
The hybrid is resistant to true and downy mildew and root rot. The yield of one plant is 5.5-7.0 kg.
Designed for cultivation both in open and protected ground.
Agrotechnics for Estonian climate.
Sowing seedlings at the end of April. Planting seedlings in the ground at the end of May - beginning of June. Seedlings are planted in the phase of 3-4 true leaves.
Sowing directly into the ground - in mid-May. Planting pattern 50x50 cm.
