Bright luxurious poppy flowers always stand out from other flowers. Without a colorful carpet of these plants, it is impossible to imagine the warmth and joy of midsummer.
Poppy is a photophilous, cold-resistant, undemanding plant.
Poppy does not tolerate stagnant water, responds well to the application of mineral and organic fertilizers. This gives poppy leaves a rich dark green color, larger flowers, and brighter colors.
If, after flowering, some of the boxes are left, then abundant self-seeding occurs. So, having sown them once, in subsequent years it will only be necessary to thin out the emerging poppy seedlings. Poppy care is not burdensome - weeding, loosening, watering in drought, removing faded flowers. Plant transplants are very poorly tolerated.
