This type of sorrel is not very productive, but it is very decorative due to the silvery veins and spots on the leaves.
Traditionally used as a seasoning for soups and in salads. Valued for its refreshing lemon-sour taste and juicy leaves.
Corymbose sorrel contains up to 6.5% dry matter, up to 1.2% sugars, 29.7 mg / 100 g ascorbic acid, 1.28 mg / 100 g carotene. Sour leaves contain up to 1.21% oxalic acid.
