Men's vigor!
A mid-early (150-165 days from germination to harvest) stalk variety.
The leaf rosette is powerful, erect, up to 70 cm high, weighing 750-850 g, consisting of 13-15 leaves. The leaves are medium, green, glossy.
The stalks are erect, large, thick, 45-55 cm long, slightly curved, slightly ribbed, tightly closed, light green, juicy and aromatic, weighing 560-650 g.
This variety can be characterized as: «power on the outside and power on the inside». It is strictly recommended to grow through seedlings. Yield is 3.3-3.8 kg/m².
Value of the variety: high quality, marketability and keeping quality of the crop after cutting, high yield.
It is recommended for use in salads, side dishes and as an addition to various snacks, meals and soups.
* To destroy the pathogens of bacterial, fungal and viral diseases present on or inside the seeds,
as well as to protect young seedlings from pathogenic microorganisms in the soil,
vegetable seeds are disinfected before germination for 15-20 minutes in a 1% solution of potassium permanganate (1 g of the preparation per half a glass of water),
and then washed well in clean water. After such treatment, the seeds acquire a brown color.
Another effective method of preparing hard-to-germinate seeds (celery, eggplants, peppers) for sowing is bubbling (aeration):
treatment of seeds in oxygen-saturated water. Seedlings from bubbled seeds appear much earlier than from dry ones.
At home, bubbling is carried out as follows: water is poured into a jar to 2/3 of its volume and the tip from a compressor,
used to aerate water in aquariums, is lowered to the bottom. Then the seeds are poured in (they should be 4 times less than the mass of water) and the compressor is plugged in.
Make sure that the seeds, together with water and air bubbles, are always in motion.
The duration of bubbling - until the seeds pip (sprout): for celery seeds - 7 days, eggplants - 2 days, peppers - 3 days.
