Tomato "Lucid Gem".
A delicious and very popular tricolor indigo tomato.
Mid-late: 80-85 days to maturity.
A high-yielding variety, similar in characteristics to the "Blue Beauty" tomato. The taste is sweet and sour: comparable to the "Ananas" tomato variety, but more productive.
Plants are vigorous (180 cm) and tolerate high temperatures well during the growing season.
The fleshy, thin-skinned, and sweet fruits contain few seeds, reaching a weight of 120-250 g, and store excellently at room temperature.
As they ripen, they change color from yellow to bright orange with dark anthocyanin splashes (shoulders).
Shape: Ribbed.
Texture: Fleshy; their dense flesh possesses a sweet fruity flavor.
Fruit size: 8–15 cm.
Foliage: Regular.
Origin: USA. This variety, bred in 2016 by Brad Gates of Wild Boar Farms in Napa (California), is a cross between "Beauty King" and "Blue Beauty".
