Tomato "Black Cherry"

TOMATO "BLACK CHERRY" - Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.
Early, tall (indeterminant) variety grown on balconies. The fruit is round, small, very tasty, weighs 15-20 grams. 
This variety is easy to grow - the bush needs no tying, no pruning. Small tomatoes are suitable for salads, and irreplaceable for decorating dishes. 
Seeds are sown in March. For the seeds to germinate quickly and uniformly, the seeding is covered by glass or film. The temperature of the substrate for sowing must be not less than +21+26°C, room temperature should be not less than +23°C.

 

* It is better to place any shelter for tomatoes, eggplants, peppers from east to west, so that the area illuminated by the sun when it is “at its zenith” is maximum. If it is not possible to place a greenhouse or hotbed exactly like this, then find a place where the sun is from sunrise to noon. A shelter lit only in the afternoon will not have time to accumulate heat for the night, and in the morning, after a long warm-up, the plants run the risk of getting “sunstroke.”

1. Good position. Trees and a green hedge shelter the area from the wind.
2. Unsuccessful positions.
* The greenhouse is located too close to the green fence, which creates inconvenience when caring for the plants.
* A shadow from a tree falls on the greenhouse.
3. Two buildings close together can create a wind tunnel effect.
