Origin and Characteristics: This heirloom variety, originating from the USA, has a unique history. It was discovered by James Lyde Williamson in a pile of debris after a flood in the city of Friendly (USA) in 1884, which gave the variety its name.
Growth Type: indeterminate (tall-growing).
Ripening Time: mid-season.
Color and Appearance: fruits are dark pink.
