Indeterminate, mid-early Estonian variety: from germination to the beginning of ripening 115-120 days.
Bush of medium power, with a simple and compact brush with 5-6 fruits. The fruit is flat-round, bright red. The average fruit weight is 125-150 g. It is grown in film greenhouses. This variety tolerates transportation very well.
* The planting period is one of the most effective agronomic factors. Very often in April, planting is limited not so much by low temperatures as by waterlogged soil, so much so that it is impossible to cultivate. In order to warm and dry the soil under the shelter, the greenhouse or hotbed should be ventilated, creating drafts. Local application of fertilizers when planting seedlings in a hole is the most economical and effective. It is advisable to add 200 g of a mixture consisting of the following to the hole for 1 plant:
10 kg of humus, 30 g of ammonium nitrate or 20 g of urea, 80 g of superphosphate, 40 g of potassium salt or potassium magnesium sulfate (mixtures such as nitroammophoska are not suitable, since nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium are in equal proportions in them, and for tomatoes, phosphorus-potassium fertilizers must predominate both to accelerate fruiting and to increase resistance to diseases).
It is advisable to add 1 tablespoon of wood ash to the hole. This is not only an excellent fertilizer, but also an antiseptic that protects the plant from diseases and pests. Ash should be added separately from other fertilizers, mixed with the soil, because when applied together, nitrogen may evaporate, and the availability of phosphorus and calcium decreases.
