Tomato "Miracle of Podsinee".
Legend of the Podsinee village. A chameleon tomato with a raspberry heart.
This variety is the pride of the famous "Minusinsk Collection" (Siberia). Originating from the village of Podsinee, it has passed severe tests of cold and drought, proving that a true Siberian is not afraid of weather whims.
Unique features:
• Play of shapes: You can see an exhibition of different shapes on one bush! Fruits vary from round-cuboid to elongated-pepper-like, often with a coquettish "nose". It looks very impressive.
• Taste and Colour: Tomatoes are large (up to 600 g), deep raspberry colour. The flesh is "watermelon-like" — tender, melting in the mouth, sweet with a piquant sourness. Tasting score: solid 5+.
• Reliability: Fruits until the very frost, ripens well indoors, and stores excellently.
Agrotechnics (Agronomist's tips):
Indeterminate variety (up to 2 m high), powerful. Requires pruning (1-2 stems).
• Yield: Great potential — up to 6 kg per bush with regular watering.
• Important! Varieties with elongated fruit shapes are prone to blossom end rot if there is a lack of calcium. Be sure to feed with calcium nitrate during the fruit filling period to keep the harvest perfect.
Culinary: This is a universal table variety. It is magnificent in fresh salads, and thanks to the dense pulp, it is suitable for thick sauces, pastes, and even whole-fruit canning.
