Tomato "Carrot".
Ultra-early (from germination to ripening 85-100 days), determinate variety (80-90 cm) for universal use.
Designed for cultivation in open ground using temporary film shelters. The leaves are similar to carrots (hence the name of the variety).
The frequency of tying brushes is every 1-2 sheets. The number of fruits in the cluster is 6-7. The fruit is round, smooth, orange-red, weighing 90-150 g.
The pulp is sweetish and juicy. Average yield per bush: 6-9 kg.
The value of the variety: unpretentiousness, good taste and fairly high yield. It is practically not affected by fruit rot and other diseases.
Agrotechnics.
Tomatoes are grown from seedlings. Seeds are sown in the second half of March. About 20 days after germination, the seedlings dive. 12 days after picking, fertilizing is done: take one tablespoon of nitroammophoska per 10 liters of water.
Seedlings are planted in late May-early June. Plants are arranged in one row or in a checkerboard pattern 50-60 cm apart. 10-12 days after planting, the plants are tied to a trellis. Further care consists of watering, fertilizing and loosening. For fertilizing, a complex mineral fertilizer is used, containing the NPK complex, enriched with a wide range of microelements, and providing the necessary nutrition to vegetable crops.
Seeds remain viable for 10 years under optimal storage conditions. 1,0 g = 250-350 seeds.
