This very old mid-season variety is famous for its large, round fruits of a beautiful yellow-orange color. The vigorous plant provides a stable and generous harvest.
Characteristics:
* Plant: Indeterminate type (tall-growing) with regular foliage.
* Fruits: Large, weighing 150 to 300 g. The shape is perfectly round.
* Color and Texture: Deep yellow-orange hue. The flesh is dense and meaty, yet very juicy, and contains very few seeds.
Culinary Use:
Thanks to the low seed count and mild, slightly sweet flavor with low acidity, this variety is perfect for fresh salads, slicing for sandwiches, and making thick, rich juices and sauces.

Originating from the USA, it is believed that "Yellow Belgium" descends from the famous pink-fruited variety "Giant Belgium", which was bred in Ohio.
