Beetroot "Red shine".
Mid-early (108-112 days after emergence) single-seeded variety with very large root crops, which requires almost no thinning.
The rosette of leaves is semi-erect. The roots are round, with thin skin, uniform in size, weighing 400-600 g.
The tender and juicy pulp is a rich bordo color, has no rings and has a pleasant sweetish taste.
The variety is resistant to diseases, heat-resistant, intended for long-term winter storage and fresh consumption.
Seeds are sown in rows with 30 cm between rows in late April - early May to a depth of 2-4 cm. The seedlings are thinned out, leaving 10-12 cm between plants.
To obtain large root crops, it is necessary to feed the plants every month with a mullein solution, carefully loosen the aisles, and water as needed.
Beetroot grows well in fertile, moderately heavy, deeply cultivated and permeable soil. Beetroot yield is determined by planting density
3.0 g = 220–350 seeds. 3 grams is enough for an area of 1.5–2.0 m2.
