Alpine Pink - Dianthus alpinus.
Ground cover perennial plant from the Caryophyllaceae family.
Origin: Europe, Eastern Alps (rocky meadows, sandy slopes, endemic).
Dianthus alpinus is variable: deep pink, cherry and purplish pink are found.
Flowering plant height: 10 cm, inflorescences up to 4 cm in diameter.
The main color of the flower: pink-red.
Foliage: oblong to lanceolate, dark green, obtuse at the ends.
Natural flowering period: June - August.
Distance between plants: 10 cm.

Soil Requirements: Sandy, well-drained, medium nutritional, non-acidic.
Does not tolerate waterlogging and especially stagnant water. Frost-resistant and cold-resistant.

They are planted in a permanent place in early May or August-September, maintaining a distance between plants of 25-30 cm.
Forms dense thickets, graceful "rugs" and "pillows" that replace the lawn. They are used to border borders and decorate alpine slides.
