Paper-flower "Swiss Giant" (Bracted strawflower) - Helichrysum bracteatum.
A magnificent dried flower, indispensable for winter bouquets.
Annual. Brilliant large flowers. The slightly spreading bush reaches a height of 90 cm.
Each plant has about 25 silvery-pink inflorescences with a diameter of 6-8 cm. Dry bracts are located along the edge of the inflorescence, creating the impression of “doubleness”.

The plant prefers open sunny places and light nutritious soils. Used for flower beds.
Propagated by sowing seeds in late March - early April. The seeding depth is 0.5-1 cm. At a temperature of +18°C, seedlings appear in 10-15 days. Seedlings are kept at moderate temperatures. Planted in open ground in late May - early June (when the threat of late spring frosts has passed). Planting distance 25-30 cm.
