Bracted strawflower "Tom Thumb" (mix) - Helichrysum bracteatum.
Herbaceous plant 45-50 cm high. Stems erect, branched. The leaves are dark green, narrow. The flowers are double, 4-6 cm in diameter, of various colors: white, pink, yellow, orange, red. Reed flowers are very dense, seem lifeless (dry), so the second name of this plant is immortelle.
Warm and photophilous, prefers open sunny places and light fertile soil.
It is grown mainly for floristic material as a dried flower for winter bouquets and flower and decorative compositions. Looks great in flower beds and mixborders.
