Tomat kasvab avamaal, kuid stardi sai katte all, mille eemaldasin juuni lõpus. Kuigi suvi on olnud päikeseline, pole see ilmselt meie kliimas piisav, et see sort avamaal punaseks läheks. Üritan rohelisi tomateid tükeldatult külmutada, et kasutada aasia stiilis toitudes, olen ka hapendanud. Hapendamiseks vajab veidi rohkem soola, kui kurk, kuna koor on nii tihe, et sool ei tungi hästi läbi ja tomat jääb magedaks. (minu kurgihapendamise retsept on 3 sl soola 2 l vee kohta ja see on olnud kurkide jaoks ideaalne)
