Turnip "Rozovy Mjod"
Turnip "Pink Honey" - Brassica rapa L. var. rapa.
Very productive, early ripening variety. The root vegetables are round-flat, raspberry-pink, with a white tip, weighing 100-120 g, with white, dense, juicy, tender pulp, piquant taste and high mineral content.
Recommended for consumption fresh, boiled, steamed, baked and salted. Used for therapeutic, dietary and baby food, especially for diabetes and obesity.
Seeds are sown 80 days before harvesting, making sure that they do not fall deeper than 1.5-2 cm. During the first growing season, the soil is loosened and weeds are removed. Turnips should be watered regularly as turnips like moist soil. To protect against pests, the area is pollinated with ash. After the formation of the fourth true leaf, the seedlings are thinned out, leaving 5-10 cm between plants. Summer ripening turnips are selectively harvested as they reach maturity. For winter storage, it is removed once before frost.
Store in boxes, sprinkled with sand, at a temperature of 0+1°C.
