* How to grow turnips?
Turnip seeds are very small, so when sowing they are barely covered with soil.
To prevent the crops from becoming too thick, the seeds are mixed with sand: 1 teaspoon of seeds per half a glass of fine sifted sand. Sow like salt. Turnips can also be grown according to the 10 x 10 cm scheme. The crops are immediately covered with film, which is removed as soon as the shoots appear.
In cold weather, the shoots are covered with agrotextile.
